Well that didn't really work did it. I took the afternoon off on the strength of a dubious forecast and headed for Pevensey knowing full well I was going to be met by a very very light northerly and the Scarlet Pimpernel and his box of toys.

Five minutes later we were rigging two of those boards which must not be mentioned here and went out for a play. It was like being on holiday in Turkey - flat water, sunny and feck all wind. Managed to put on a display of the most wobbly and hopeless lightwind freestyle for usurf who had turned up to laugh. So an afternoon was salvaged and without having to go near a paddle -phew.
